Hmmm...

Did anyone else's ward send out a survey to see how prepared your family is for an emergency???

It looks like the Church is trying tell how everyone is doing with emergancy preparedness. I realized I am lacking in MANY areas, but then I couldn't help thinking this is a warning from the Church to make sure we are on track with food storage and emergency preparedness??? It just makes me feel like its a STRONG warning, of course I could be a little paroniod too :) I have been into "Signs of the Times" lately.

I think if you click on the pictures they will get bigger.

I feel like I've been hearing much more about the need to be prepared in not only our ward, but other wards! Whenever I visit other family members ward, I often attend during a lesson on emergency preparedness. I take it as a sign and big hint that we all better hurry up and get ready! I'm still behind.

I do believe that we will be using our preparedness stuff (food storage, 72 hour kits, etc.) sooner than what I had expected. So thank you for posting the survey it was very helpful. :)

This is exactly the same survey that my stake sent out several years ago when I was in the Relief Society Presidency. (That was probably about 9-11 years ago.) It is a constant reminder that we need to be prepared in all things. I believe because the economy is so bad, more people are not being wise with what they have. It's a big concern to the church leaders.

I too have seen many surverys during the last few years.

We don't have everything, but we do have some things. I hope effort is worth something.

Hmm, I think this post kind of creeps me out. (Not makes me scared, just creeps me out.)
And no, we have NONE of that electrical stuff, and only a couple weeks of food and water.
