School started. I'm taking a Pedagogy of Language class, which is just a fancy title for a Spanish class. It's not listed as a Spanish class cause then the professor would have to follow a specific curriculum and he doesn't believe you can learn languages from books and dialogue models. I agree with him, and his philosophy of teaching in general, and am very exciting to be in his class.
Anyway, 1st class was today and it was "solemente en Espanol." I understood most of it, it was fairly basic however. We will see how I progress as it goes along!!

I'm excited for your class. Since I've decided I want to learn it, I've been trying real hard to read as much as I can. I came home the other night and shared with Rick that I could read 2 pages of Spanish and actually was able to understand what I was reading. (I was actually translating the written spanish into spoken english.) I still can't understand people when they talk, but the reading is coming along. Good Luck

Good luck! I like your new blog look.
Good luck! I also like the new look!
I agree with him! Although I find it usefully to have books and such, the absolute best way is to be forced to speak it! I want to learn spanish...I need to have Josh teach me.
Good luck with the Espagnol.

Hola! Como esta? Que pasa? That is about all the Spanish I remember from high school. Of course, that was 35 years ago. Best of luck with your Pedagogy of Language class.
I too, like your blog's new look.
