I stumbled across this blog a couple weeks ago and have become totally inspired by it. I'm inspired for many reasons, first I LOVE her blog and writing style. It's witty, honest and thought provoking. I want my blog to be like hers when I grow up, hehe. Secondly, she has been through an horrific experience and yet has come out the other-side with grace and dignity.
A brief over view of her story....
Her name is Stephanie and about a year and a half ago her husband, herself and another gentlemen were flying in a small airplane that crashed. Her and her husband where badly burn (she had burns over 80% of her body). She was in a medically induced coma for 3 months and has said while in the coma she had a vision..."[I was] with somebody who told me that I could choose to live and have a hard life, you know, embarrassing at times and painful. Or, I could just stay there, and there's lots of work I could do there too,"..."But I thought of my children and my husband, and it was easy. An easy choice."
I find her truly inspiration and can't imagine what life must be like for her, but the way she speaks about her children, her husband, her faith (she's LDS) is amazing. To go through all that and come out and still be so positive and greatful.
If you have time, I would suggest reading her blog...and if you do, read her WHOLE story at least starting from the crash. That's right about here...
PS...some of you may have heard of her. Like I said stumbled upon her blog, but she has made national news lately because so many people are following her journey through her blog, so you may have seen her on TV.

Yes this is an awesome blog. (Makes my trials seem so trivial at times.) I started following the day after her plane crash. She went to school with someone on another blog I follow and that woman had posted about it. But this is how small a world it is because her sister Cjane is married to a man that went to Twin Falls High School. Just a little trivia for the day. :) Thanks for sharing! ;>)
I also wanted to tell you that I like your blog background. :)
thanks, i'm going to check it out when i know i can just sit and read with no distractions.
