APN – Ninja In Space

use11  Greetings fellows travelers,  Today i left the land of the vampires and werewolves and ventured to the land of ferries and Space Needles.  The day started with a quick drive to Brainbridge Island, where I drove our trusty Malibu aboard a ferry destined for Seattle.

Here’s a shot of me on the bow of the boat – “I’m the King of the World” indeed. The ferry moved a lot faster that I expected.
After disembarking and  navigating the congested streets of downtown, I found my swanky hotel, checked-in, and head out to see the city.
For a quick survey, I hoped on the monorail.  The seat was just oh so comfy and the ride was so smooth.

After flying through the city, I needed up at the Space Needle. built in 1962 and towering a whooping 605 feet high.  You could fit two of the “Big Spruce” trees in there! You know what I’m saying?  The views of the bay and the city skyline were just so great. I got a little dizzy from the heights after peaking over the edge.

I made a quick stop in the gift shop to practice some ninja kicks on the Space Needle.  Pow Pow!
use5After the workout, I rode my trusted white stallion to dinner at I Love Sushi, a restaurant highly recommended by friends. use8 The fish was just oh so fresh and so clean.  The best part?  I got in during happy hour and the menu was half-priced!   Here’s a few shots of me hanging out maxing and relaxing among the feast.

That’s all for now.  See you tomorrow where I hope to catch a flying fish!
