It turned out FABULOUS!!!
It think it's my favorite bundt cake flavor to date. In case you aren't aware, I'm totally into the William Sonoma bundt pans. I'm have the stadium and snowman bundt pans I posted about earlier. I also have this lemon wedge. PLUS I have a pumpkin, igloo and beehive. I think the beehive would be PERFECT for a Young Women activity. The bundt pan I really want to get is the elusive Rabbit bundt pan WS had a few years back for Easter. I fell in love with it but thought it was too expensive and didn't get it. I've been regretting it ever since. I figure one day it will show up on Ebay and I snatch it right up.
Anyway, back to this cake. I had a couple friends over to play with the Cricut (I will post about that cool gizmo another time) and they gobbled the cake right up. The glaze I made soaked right into the cake and it turned out wonderful. My mom said I should write down the recipe I used so I could remember for next time. I figured I'll post it and keep it that way.
Cake
1 lemon cake mix
1 lemon instant pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup warm water
Cook at 350 until bamboo skewer came out clean
Glaze
powdered sugar
lemon juice
lemon zest
Didn't measure any of these, just mixed until I liked the consistency.
Once the cake was completely cool I sliced it up and poured the glaze over top it. YUMMY!!!

Wow, sure is fancy! You're baking and artistic decorating skills never cease to amaze me. I can literally taste the sweet tartness just by looking at the picture. The glaze adds just the right kick of freshness. Great job.
