So I really don't have anything to report because I have been sick and haven't done anything! But I'm finally feeling myself again, for the most part anyway, and thought I post a quick update. I'm happy to report I did not have Swine Flu, even though plenty of people at my work do. My work is on a major anti-flu kick. They've put anti-bacterial hand sanitizer at every turn. Not to mention all the posters about washing your hands and not touching your face. Did you know you are supposed to wash your hands for 20 secs to be effective? They suggest singing "Happy Birthday" twice to make sure your hands are sufficiently clean.
For those who don't know, poor little Sydney also got Swine Flu. She seems to be doing good though. When I talked to her she thought it was funny. She said, "It's funny because I like pigs and I have Pig Flu!" Then she laughed. She's a goofy kid, but I guess that's just one of the things I love about her.
This whole flu "epidemic" gave me the BEST idea for a Halloween costume though! That's right, I'm gonna be "Swine Flu"! I laugh just thinking about it, hopefully it turns out. Paul graciously agreed to be a doctor. I think it will be great!
