Twitter is my life now

Well maybe not that dramatic, but its sounds more fun when you have an exciting title don't cha think?!

I have been using twitter ALOT, its fun. Unlike facebook, my twitter is all anonymous and I tweet about movies, TV shows, Hollywood gossip, pop culture, fashion. Basically all things and are frivolous and unimportant, but fun for me. 

I've been gaining followers and now have more people following me on twitter then I have friends on facebook.

I don't know the people who follow me and I still haven't figured out why they do, but hey the more the merrier.  I have a few gossip shows/movie blogs following me. E!Online, Next Movie, Sundance FilmFestival, are just a few.  Jimmy Fallon, yes the late night host Jimmy Fallon as follows me.  Not sure why, but maybe I will say something funny and he will put it on his show!  I've tweeted a few directors and they've responded, but over all nothing too interesting, mostly just random anonymous people sharing info about silly things. One follower asked me who I worked for the other day. She thought I was some insider at a magazine...haha. No, just good and searching the net.

Despite what you may think, twitter is AWESOME about spreading real news too. When the tsunami hit Japan and Hawaii, I heard it on twitter first. When Bin Laden was killed, twitter had it first. Its a good way to get first hand/real time accounts of events.

If you have something you want to market, put it out there on facebook and twitter...people will follow! If you have a website, add a twitter share link and you will spread across the universe!
