The day started with a quick trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. I spoke to a dairy cow and she recommended the squeaky cheese, which is a the leftover curd that literally squeak when you eat them.
After that, I continued the journey and stumbled upon a light house, one of only eight on the coast of Oregon.
There was also a tree that thought it was an octopus. I thought I’d give it a try and master the chi of octpi.
Then I went beach combing. I found a WHOLE sand dollar. It’s rare to find one intact. I also practiced the art of the ninja by hiding among some mussels nestled on the rocks.
Ninja Where?
While staring at the ocean and pondering the meaning of life, waves over came me and I almost DIED! You know what I am saying?
Shortly after recovering from almost drowning, I encountered a giant, blue sea monster! Me, being a master ninja, I used my new Octopi skills to defeat the beast and save the day.
Then I ate him and his friends, fresh Pacific oysters on the half shell for lunch,…mmuuuaa hahahaha, Pow pow!! How do you like me now?!
To commemorate my victory, the townspeople built this column so future generations will honor me.
Lastly, we went to Astoria, Or – Home of the Goonies.
Next up the Olympic Peninsula…maybe I will see my Japanese from the falls there.
Stay Tuned!

I love the sand $ pic, the blue squishy thing, the sword at lunch and mostly, "pow, pow..."! :)
I feel your pain, I had a near drowning experience myself yesterday....
Cute way of sharing your vacation. Very creative.
